Park Slope Blizzard
In the winter of 2015 or 2016, there was a blizzard that shut down much of NYC. On the early evening of a snow day, I took a walk in the hazy light of dusk. There was no traffic with nearly empty main streets, side streets were unplowed, people skied home from the park. These paintings contemplate the many colored lights of freshly fallen white snow.
