Tonsai Beach
Tonsai Beach is a well-worn climbing destination in Thailand, with beachside climbing and the additional challenge of timing your climbing session with the tides so you don’t get stranded by the encroaching waterline. In 2016, I went with some friends and stayed on after they left to make sketches and watercolors. Back at home in the studio, I did a series of small oil paintings based on the images of the bay at Tonsai.
